Planning a social? We make it fun, profitable and easy to host a social and raise money for your group! Our facilities boast a spacious environment holding up to 410 people at The Copa and 450 at Regent Park. Our round tables ensure a relaxed atmosphere. Unlike most facilities, we will clean up the hall for you after your event, and clear tables throughout the evening. We also have a professional event planner and a wedding co-ordinator on staff to help your event be perfect! When you book The Copa or Regent Park, you can actually enjoy your evening, while our professionals make sure your special event is a success!

Think it's too much work and hassle to hold a social? WRONG ! The Copa & Regent Park Banquet Halls have their own liquor licenses, so you do not need to get a liquor permit. We operate a cash bar and look after all the liquor, supplies and staff. You don't have to pay all the MLCC fees, purchase the liquor up front, load it all in, and remove it at the end of the night, worry about what brands to buy, or risk running out! You also don't have to provide ticket sellers, tickets, change etc. Leave it to us! As well there are no corkage or bartender charges to pay.

Corona, Jager-bombs & Paralyzers at a social ?! Tired of just rye, vodka and beer? We stock a full selection, including 25 Cocktails Best Sellers, Top Twenty Shooters, coolers, 5 choices of beer, premium liquors as well as regular brands at very competitive prices, with most items just $3.00 & $3.50!

Party until 2 a.m.! You can run until 2 a.m. with bar service, when using our liquor license

FREE DJ Bonus: Fill the room and the tunes are on us! If you have 350 or more people in attendance we will provide DanceTrax's DJ services at no charge. FREE DJ BONUS IS NOT AVAILABLE AT EVENTS WHERE YOU OBTAIN YOUR OWN LIQUOR PERMIT OR WITH SPECIAL OFFERS

No cleaning up: Don't want to hassle friends and family to pick up glasses all night? Unlike most halls, we will clean up the hall for you after your event, and clear tables during the evening. No need to hassle family and friens to volunteer for clean up duty, when it's over, just go home!

Bonus Days: We are open on GOOD FRIDAY and THANKSGIVING SUNDAY, great days to host a social. We are also available Sundays on all long week ends!

MLCC Permit Bars: For those who still wish to obtain their own permit, assuming all of the purchasing, cleaning up, enforcment of liquor laws, etc. this option is available at The Copa. See the bottom of this for complete details on your responsibilities regarding a permit bar.

When using our license, essentially you just collect tickets at the door and

run your silent auction (which should be the most profitable part of any social) and party!

Food Service

Traditional Late Lunch includes: hot meatballs, lunch meats, keilbassa, cheese, pickles, fresh bread,

Chips, Pretzals & Coffee: included with all of our socials are chips & pretzals on the tables, a complimentary coffee station at 11:30, plates, napkins, condiments, set up, etc

Price* The first 275 people just $2.95 each, each additional guests over 275 are HALF PRICE only $1.50 each. Each guests over 400 is FREE! It is mandatory that we provide the food, making it one less thing for you to worry about!

This price only applies to functions running under our license. Late lunch is $2.95 for everyone at a permit functions

Permit Functions

At THE COPA special arrangements can be made to obtain your own liquor permit from the Liquor Commission.

Under this arrangement you must:

*Obtain the permit and ensure all applicable MLCC regulations are adhered to. We provide bartending staff

*MLCC fees, supplementary fees are due of $2.50 per case of beer or bottle of liquor

*Liquor Inspector The permit holder must deal with the inspector when they arrive, ensuire all MLCC regulations are strictly

enforced, be in attendance the entire evening, and remain sober.

*Personal Liability insurance for the hosts / permit holder is your responsibility

*Purchase in advance all beer & liquor. You must decide what brands to buy, and worry about running out!

*Delivery - Arrange for transporting and unloading all alcohol

*Remove all alcohol and empties at the end of the evening.

*You must use liquor tickets and provide your own tickets, change and ticket sellers all evening

*Permit functions end at 1 a.m. not 2 a.m. Last call is 12:30 for permits

*Clearing tables - At socials, you must provide volunteers for clearing tables through out the evening

*End of the evening clean up- you are responsible for cleaning up, removing decorations etc

*Corkage: 3.95 per person plus GST, PST & gratuity for socials. We then provide all glasses, pop, juice, ice & bartenders.

*Discounted pricing does not apply on social late lunch

*FREE DJ bonus is not available on permit events

*A bar set up fee applies to all permit events

*Minimum guarantee is 350 persons at permit socials (applies to food & corkage), no discounts are applicable

When all costs are factored in, most of our customers choose NOT to obtain a liquor permit, and leave the alcohol issues to us! They find this arrangement to be cost effective and convenient. Don't worry about corkage charges, the liquor inspector, running out of liquor, and enjoy the specials available to customers using our license. However it is completely up to you !

More Late Lunch Choices !

You don't have to have coldcuts, rye bread and the usual social snack. Why not set your event apart from an "ordinary" social with one of the following, all at no additional charge!

The North-ender: Meatballs in mushroom gravy, scalloped potatoes, coleslaw, dill pickles, rye bread *best seller*

Asian Delight: Teriyaki meatballs, vegetable fried rice, Thai noodle salad, fresh rolls

Viva Italiano: Meatballs in tomato sauce, Penne pasta with sauteed onions & peppers, Caesar salad, fresh rolls

Tropical Fiesta: Sweet & Sour meatballs with pineapple, Caribbean roast potato wedges, coleslaw, fresh rolls

Of course, always included with our social food is chips & pretzels on the tables, coffee, plates napkins, condiments etc.
